Early recordings (1988-90)

A developing interest in home recording and songwriting results in a string of early demos and original compositions. Daniel McBrearty continues to deepen his creative musicianship along with bass player, Mark Anderson, veteran singer Cuttie Williams, and others.

Session Singers Jam (1991-92)

Together with bass player, Patrice Blanchard and front man, Easton Davis, Daniel McBrearty hits London with a bang in 1991, joining the house band at Pamela’s Wine Bar for its famous East London singers session.

Kwei-Mein Chen (1996)

A year of musical journeying takes Daniel McBrearty to Toulouse, France where he meets guitarist and composer, Kwei-Mein in 1996. The respective styles click almost instantly and the two make a number of recordings of jazz standards and Kwei’s own compositions.

Asha P (1997)

Daniel McBrearty meets soulful vocalist, Asha P. in London in 1997. For a full season of performances around London’s West End, Asha's unique breed of vocals resonate to the tune of Daniel's own funk and R&B compositions.

Daniel McBrearty Quartet (2002)

New to the Antwerp scene, Daniel McBrearty teams up with the renowned Taiwanese pianist, Suchi-Wu, master drummer Bruno Meeus and bassist Philp Vandenvoorde.
