Daniel McBrearty Quartet (2002)

New to Antwerp, Daniel McBrearty teams up with Taiwanese pianist, Suchi-Wu, drummer Bruno Meeus and bassist Philp Vandenvoorde, to bring his original compositions to the scene.

Asha P (1997)

Back in London again, Daniel works with Asha P, a spontaneous and soulful singer, in his home studio and in around West London. More original compositions result.

Kwei-Mein Chen (1996)

A year of musical journeying takes Daniel McBrearty to Toulouse, France where he meets guitarist and composer, Kwei-Mein in 1996. The two make a number of recordings of jazz standards and Kwei’s own compositions.

Session Singers Jam (1991-92)

Daniel hit London with a bang in 1991, and soon got involved with a a burgeoning scene at Session Singers in Dalston. Regular Thursday night jams, run by by Easton Davis, pulled in some of London's hottest talent on the Brit-soul scene, and Daniel learned on his feet playing in the house band.

Early recordings (1988-90)

A developing interest in home recording and songwriting results in a string of early demos and original compositions. Daniel McBrearty continues to deepen his creative musicianship along with bass player, Mark Anderson, veteran singer Cuttie Williams, and others.
