Claudia pre-release party ... a great success (even with the World Cup on)

At 9:30 we were wondering if we would have an audience at all. But, as soon as the football was over, we started playing in Busters, and the place went from empty to almost full in about 20 minutes. Amazing! We love a good crowd, and it was a lot of fun.

We played most of the tunes from the album, but not in just the same way ... it is always fun to change things around. I suddenly realised that the band had never played live in this combination. I have gigged with Breno, but not with Johan. It made no difference, it seemed very relaxed to be playing with this great rhythm section. I was able to take tunes off in whatever direction I felt like, they were always right behind me.

After the concert, I made some new friends (people that drifted in from Den Hague), we jammed, ended up sitting by the water. And thanks to Sara from Mongolia who gave me a great back massage at 8am ... by the lake on Linkeroever, having not slept all night. I think we can call that a successful party (happy grin ...)
